About the Event

I'm baking a savory olive-oil brioche wreath this December, my own spin on Christopsomo, stuffed with wild mushrooms, lentils, caramelized figs, and walnuts. Challah does the same thing in Jewish kitchens. Cozonac does it in Romania. Something about migration keeps landing on the same idea: braid the good stuff into the bread for the one day a year it has to hold. Come bake it with me and we'll get into why.
