Meet the Founder:
Christina Gdisis

Christina is a Vegan lifestyle coach, plant-based chef, and certified mindfulness facilitator. She created CVK to share the food and philosophy passed down through generations of Greek women—and to help others build a soulful relationship with food, body, and earth.

Why Conscious Cooking?

There’s a rhythm in the kitchen that speaks to something older than trends. A quiet remembering that happens when our hands meet the earth’s abundance—when we chop, stir, taste, and tend with care.

Conscious cooking is seasonal vegan cooking guided by the land and the wisdom passed down through generations. It’s a return to ancestral food traditions—where meals were rooted in nourishment, not noise. Where food was a daily ritual. A conversation. A ceremony.

Here, you’ll find Greek mountain herbs alongside Blue Zone longevity meals, slow-cooked stews that follow Ayurvedic principles, and whole food plant-based recipes that honor your rhythm through the seasons.

Drawing from the longevity traditions of the Greek Blue Zones, we focus on slow, nourishing meals made with simple ingredients, connection, and care.

Cooking is one of the oldest forms of meditation. Here, we turn meal prep into a grounding ritual—stirring with intention, chopping with presence, tasting with gratitude.

The Reconnect with Nature Retreat is a 5-day plant-based immersion in one of the most breathtaking, wild, and ancestral regions of Greece. Together, we’ll cook seasonal meals, share stories under olive trees, explore village life, and reconnect with the rhythms of the land and our own bodies.
